Our Beekeeper will take you through the process of getting your own apiary started in your backyard, where to obtain supplies, and how to care for honey bees. Russel will relay crucial information and tips about making your own honey from your apiary. He will also discuss the health benefits of local raw honey vs. pasteurized honey, and the processes involved.

Christmas Tree Lot Opens Nov. 24th – Local Trees

Our all locally cut tree lot is open and our trees are here! Come down to experience getting a tree with that old fashioned country feeling here at KJM tree lot. We have a wonderful variety of local fresh cut and living Christmas trees, such as Fraser firs, Grand firs, Noble firs, Pines, Douglas firs, and more!!! Warm up with a hot chocolate afterwards from our cafe.

Tree lot and garden centre open daily from 9:30 to 5:30pm – NOTE: If you cannot get to us by closing time, please let us know ahead of time by phone and we may be able to accommodate you and stay open a bit late so you can choose your perfect tree :-)

Join Robin for a thorough demonstration on how to chose the right plants for a thriving cool season planter. your will leave this workshop with your very own custom ploanter that will stay looking gorgeous not only through the colder months, but all the way into spring and summer and beyond! Important factors such as texture, colour, and care will be discussed. Got a shady spot? No worries, there will be exciting possibilities for sun or shade!

Class includes a wide selection of plants to choose from, as well as soil. Feel free to bring your own container, or have a look when you arrive and purchase one from our selection here at KJM at a substantially discounted rate. Please bring gloves and a trowel or you can purchase them here.
