Focussing on food gardens, we’ll discuss integrated pest management, or IPM, plans for the control of pests and weeds using all-natural methods. Companion planting and predatory insects will be introduced as well as tools, techniques and products that can help give you a leg up in the ongoing battle.

All About Garlic!

What’s not to love about garlic! We’ll take you right from bulb/seed selection through to preparing the soil, planting, maintenance, harvesting, curing and finally storing garlic. We will learn about the different types of garlic and talk about the many uses of this marvelous crop including culinary and medicinal uses.
